A simple way to know what you are getting is to:

1. Check the volume of the content of the bottle first, most are 10ml.
2. Look for how many mg of CBD extract is in the bottle.
3. Check the percentage strength to see if it matches up. A 10ml bottle containing 500mg is a 5% CBD product. A 10ml bottle containing 1000mg is a 10% CBD product. A 10ml bottle containing 2000mg is a 20% CBD product.
4. Our 10ml bottles carry approximately 200 drops and this will allow you to calculate how many mg of CBD is in each drop.
5. Our 20% CBD product containing 2000mg provides 2000mg CBD / 200 drops = 10.0 mg CBD per drop.
6. Our 10% CBD product containing 1000mg provides 1000mg CBD / 200 drops = 5.0 mg CBD per drop.
7. Our 5% CBD product containing 500mg provides 500mg CBD / 200 drops = 2.5 mg CBD per drop.

The suggested daily serving size of CBD oil is 5-70 mg CBD per day depending on your weight, and how CBD affects you individually. We recommend starting at 1-2 mg of CBD for every 5 kilogrammes of body weight and increasing that by just a few mg each day until you get the desired results.

a) Strength/Potency

From a scientific standpoint, both hemp and marijuana are the same species — Cannabis sativa. The difference is in their chemical makeup. Anything with less than 0.2% THC by dried weight is classified as hemp (non-psychoactive), while anything over this is marijuana (psychoactive). Yes. CBD is CBD no matter if it comes from a hemp plant or a marijuana plant. However, the ratio of cannabinoids will be very different from a hemp plant and a marijuana plant. The most obvious difference is THC and CBD — marijuana has high THC, and generally, a low CBD level, while hemp is high in CBD, and low in THC. The other cannabinoids will vary a lot between these two plants as well. Terpenes also vary a lot between hemp and marijuana — but this really depends on the strains being used and can vary a lot from one plant to the next.

Hemp seed oil is made by cold pressing the seeds of the hemp plant. The oil that’s produced is rich in nutrients like gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), amino acids, and trace minerals. It makes for an excellent source of nutrition — but doesn’t contain CBD or any of the other cannabinoids.

CBD hemp oils, on the other hand, are made from the upper third part of female hemp plants (without seeds) using state of the art extraction methods to collect the cannabinoids and terpenes naturally found in the plant. This is the source of CBD.
